Recently, in 2008 I saw a newspaper advert from a major airline “Toronto – London ..$249.00”. It turned out that this was a 1-way fare, only available if you bought a return ticket and did not include various taxes and surcharges. Final cost to the purchaser - $948.00..! This was from an airline but, of course, you can be surprised with air taxes etc. when you buy any tour that includes flying.

At DHTour, rightly or wrongly, we have decided to include ALL taxes, surcharges etc. in our published prices. We have always included hotel taxes and service charges, now we will also include all Government and airline taxes, surcharges and security fees in our air inclusive packages. What you see is what you will pay!

One argument others use for not showing the complete cost of a flight is that it would make them appear uncompetitive. They might be right. For example, with one of our most popular tours, Cornish Explorer –

Published price without taxes etc: $2,980.00 p.p.

Price inclusive of current taxes: $3,460.00 p.p.

An apparent increase of $480.00 (the current taxes etc. to and from London). However, we are sure (or, at least, we hope!) that the vast majority of people planning their travel will understand the difference when comparing.

PRICE GUARANTEE: In addition to showing the full price, up front, we also guarantee to you that, once you have paid your deposit (or, made your final payment) on any tour, that price will not change – we will absorb any future increase in taxes etc. Please see our full Terms and Conditions regarding this and regarding air ticket pricing and payment.
