Covid 19 Safety

Our suppliers, airlines, hotels, tour and transfer companies etc. are constantly upgrading their protocols for when we are all able to travel again. All our operators in the UK and Europe are complying with national safety standards symbolized by…

In partnership with Visit England and Visit Scotland, this certification recognizes that they have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social/physical distancing.

At DHTour we will continually check and update all our supplier’s safety procedures at time of booking and before you depart. It is very likely that tour companies will ask all tour participants to provide one of the following printed and/or digital verifications:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination at least 14 days prior to travel
  • Proof of a negative COVID-19 test (NAAT/PCR or antigen) result within 72-hours of travel, or
  • Proof of recovery from a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis within three months of travel.

We will advise or confirm at time of booking.

Below are current quotes from 3 of our tour operators – Blue Roads and Rabbie’s regarding their extended tours and Evan Evans regarding their day tours in and around London.

Blue Roads Touring:
As you begin to make travel plans in the wake of COVID-19, you can be assured your wellbeing will remain our number one priority as we continue to deliver exceptional touring holidays. As a tour operator for small groups of up to 18 people, Blue-Roads provides a unique, off-the-beaten-track travel experience that naturally avoids over-crowded destinations and attractions. Our policies will continue to evolve and adapt as more information emerges but you can be confident that when the time comes to travel, your Blue-Roads tour is being run hygienically, responsibly and with your safety at the forefront of all operations.

We have always believed in the benefits of small group travel. You travel with more time with our expert guides, avoid the crowds, and go far off the beaten track. With an average group size of under 10 people in a 16-seat mini coach, there’s plenty of space for everyone. Compared to larger coaches, we’ve been doing social distancing for years. Our mini-coaches are comfy, sanitized and very clean. You’ll keep your own seat throughout your trip, and there’s even a hand sanitizer station at the front of the coach that you can use throughout your journey. Every driver-guide is equipped with facemasks and trained in the most up-to-date health and safety procedures ( See video below).

Evans Evans:
We have all adapted to this new world, where it is imperative for us to take additional measures to stay healthy. That’s why you can travel with us reassured that we have put numerous new measures in place to elevate our hygiene standards and protocols. The health and well-being of our guests and team has always been, and always will be, our primary concern. In this new, fast changing Covid-19 era, we are doing all we can to adapt to new requirements and expectations.

Wishing you a safe and most enjoyable holiday!
