The UK’s network of canals played an important role in the Industrial Revolution allowing for relatively quick and easy transport of goods. This trip explores this heritage with visits to Gloucester’s National Waterways Museum and the Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne. There’s a horse-drawn boat trip on the Kennet & Avon Canal and a visit to Crofton Beam Engine. You’ll see many different types of canals and locks and the Blisworth Tunnel – one of the longest canal tunnels in the UK.
