For a limited time only, step inside the King’s official London residence and Britain’s most famous palace on this fantastic tour of the State Rooms at the heart of Buckingham Palace. 

Enjoy a multimedia tour around the lavishly decorated rooms adorned with priceless furniture, paintings and other articles. Learn about the history of the palace and the rooms that make up the State Rooms.

The Royal Mews is one of the finest working stables anywhere in the world and home to the royal collection of historic coaches and carriages, and the Windsor Greys and Cleveland Bays, the horses that pull the carriages. To this day, the stables are still responsible for all road travel arrangements for His Majesty The King and other members of the Royal Family.

  • Our suggested visit time is 3 hours
  • Please note, you will require a printed copy of your E-ticket
  • A multilingual audio guide is included with your entrance ticket
  • During peak periods the Royal Mews can experience long queues in particular when Buckingham Palace State Rooms is open in the summer July – September
  • The Royal Mews is closed on Easter Sunday, 25-26 December and during State Visits
  • The Mews is subject to additional last-minute closures. Please double-check before you visit
  • Last admission is 45 minutes before closing time
