Florence Wonders: Accademia & Uffizi with Lunch

Visit the Accademia Gallery to admire the David as well as other great works by Michelangelo.

Then, in the afternoon, stroll through the beautiful streets and squares of old town Florence.

Along the way, you will admire the marvelous Duomo complex with its monuments completely covered in polychromatic marble such as the Cathedral with the great Duomo by Brunelleschi, the Baptistery and the Campanile by Giotto.

You’ll proceed then to the imposing and outstanding stone building of the Church of Orsanmichele, home to Orcagna´s wonderful Gothic tabernacle, a Florentine masterpiece.After seeing the lively Mercato della Paglia with the famous “piglet”, you will reach Piazza della Signoria.

Discover its spectacular beauty as home to sculptural masterpieces from Loggia dei Lanzi as well as the imposing Palazzo Vecchio with the crenellated tower of Arnolfo, one of the most famous symbols of the city.

At 12:00pm, you will have lunch in a typical restaurant.

 After lunch , meet up tour at 3:00 pm at Travel Store & Welcome Point – Via dei Tavolini, 15r (Google Maps)

The tour continues with a unique perspective of the Uffizi Gallery, which opens up to the square. At this famous museum admire countless masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio, and many more.
