What to Expect

This large coach group tour will operate with a minimum of 20 passengers, max of 30 passengers on a 53 seater coach.

You can expect time on your feet as much of this tour is spent visiting rather than driving.

This tour will be led by Stewart Bennett, the owner of “The Wee Tartan Shop” in Port Perry, Ontario.

Stewart was born in Scotland and emigrated to Canada at an early age but never lost his love of Scotland.  He is passionate about his homeland but has ventured out and loves every part of the UK.  He tours the UK on his own to discover “Off the main road hidden gems”  His travellers love taking the back roads only to discover the most beautiful sites and scenery.   He checks out every hotel so there are no surprises.

Stewart has owned The Wee Tartan Shop in Port Perry for over 25 years and that is what got him into taking people to see Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland.  His main goal is to give you the best experience you can get and he wants you to travel with him again.  Some of the comments from his guests are:

“This was the best tour we have ever taken”

“This was my first coach tour and it will not be the last”

‘I was very nervous about joining a group tour but Stewart looked after our every need and we will travel with him again.’

With his British shop, Stewart feels like he is in the UK everyday talking with suppliers and tour operators.  He often will take the group to one of his suppliers such as Hanna Hats in Donegal or Walkers Shortbread in Aberlour, Scotland.
