You explore Windsor, a town full of history, royalty and quirky stories. You venture to Bath, where both the pagans and Romans washed themselves in ‘mythical’ hot springs. And you learn about the English way of life in tiny Cotswolds villages and the grand university colleges of Oxford.

Take this two day break and discover Britain’s top destinations.

Itinerary
Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath & Oxford

Day 1London - Windsor - Stonehenge - Bath

  • Gaze in wonder at the most famous stone circle in the world, Stonehenge
  • Marvel at the immense scale of Bath’s Georgian terraces, its majestic Abbey cathedral, and its Roman history

You depart central London early in the morning. The city’s grand buildings fade into open green spaces as you travel towards the town of Windsor, your first stop of the day.

Here, you can choose to either discover the opulent architecture and royal furniture of Windsor Castle* or amble around the cobbled streets of the historic market town.

You then leave one of the grandest sites of the Modern Era and head to one greatest marvels of the Neolithic Period, Stonehenge. The outstanding stones transport you to a long-forgotten world and the visitor center gives you a glimpse into the creation of this strange artifact. For lunch, there’s a great café boasting pasties, beers, and lovely local produce.

Your final stop of the day is Bath. You arrive late afternoon – go for an evening stroll, eat supper by the waterways, and get a good night’s rest.

*Please note that your optional visit to Windsor Castle cannot be guaranteed, as sometimes tickets sell out. Ask us about adding Entry to Windsor Castle.

Day 3Bath - Castle Combe - Oxford - London

  • Wander amongst the tranquil settings of the Cotswolds villages
  • Explore Oxford’s iconic educational institutions

It’s time to explore the leafy, golden streets of Bath. This morning, you can enjoy Bath Abbey and the beautiful Georgian architecture at your own pace, or even visit the Roman Baths*.

You then take the country roads to Castle Combe, one of the most picturesque villages within the Cotswolds. You have time here to take the perfect picture of the famous bridge and ogle at the medieval market cross monument.

The city of Oxford is the penultimate stop of your adventure. After you’ve grabbed lunch, you have time to explore the precincts of the colleges, climb the vantage points to admire the skyline, or see the art and antiquities collections in the Ashmolean Museum.

You then travel back to London and arrive in the early evening. (B)

*Please note that your optional visit to the Roman Baths cannot be guaranteed, as sometimes tickets sell out. Ask us about adding Entry to the Roman Baths.
